Perez Elementary, 2025
In partnership with UT Collective and supported by a $5000 grant from the City of Austin, Kenzo Revilla led the mural project at Perez Elementary to inspire young students and honor the legacy of Cpl. Lance Perez, a U.S. Hispanic Marine who gave his life in service. The mural centers on his silhouette wrapped in the Mexican and American flags, rooted in the trunk of a sprawling tree whose branches hold images of family, community, and achievement. A red and yellow snake—Perez Elementary’s mascot—coils upward in triumph, symbolizing resilience and hope.

Widen Elementary, 2024
Rooted in Austin’s historic Dove Springs neighborhood, Widen Elementary marks the inaugural mural project of both the UT Collective and Street Art Muralist organization. This vibrant, interactive mural was featured in The Daily Texan for highlighting UT Austin’s dedication to community service and creative outreach. At its heart stands a young Hispanic girl beneath the school’s slogan, “¡Sí Se Puede!” (“You Can Do It!”), surrounded by colorful depictions of local landmarks like the Texas Capitol and UT Tower. Everyday objects radiate outward, inviting kindergarteners to engage and explore—set against a bold rainbow gradient that brings the wall to life.
